Jackie Del Calzo started her dance training at the age of three. She began studying with Sharon Davis School of Dance at the age of nine and continued throughout the end of her college years. While attending Florida State University, she studied Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and the History of Dance through the FSU Department of Dance. In 2005, Ms. Jackie graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Advertising. It was then that she joined Sharon Davis School of Dance as a teacher.
After graduation, while working in advertising, Ms. Jackie knew that her passion was dance and decided to pursue her dance career full-time. In 2007, she formed “All That Jazz Dance Troupe”, a group consisting of middle and high school dance students performing at local events. From 2008-2009, Ms. Jackie was the Director of DanceChance, a scholarship program that exposes economically disadvantaged children to the art of dance through Ballet instruction and Dance Appreciation classes. Ms. Jackie is now in her twelfth year of teaching at Sharon Davis School of Dance. When she is not dancing, Ms. Jackie enjoys spending time with her husband, Todd.
