Performing Arts Summer Camp in Tallahassee, Florida.

Campers rehearse for the Performing Arts show.

Grades Completed: Kindergarten – 7th

In a Sharon Davis School of Dance Performing Arts Camp, students explore four art forms: Dance, Music, Drama, and Art! This collaborative camp is lead by certified instructors in each field of performing arts who give each camper their utmost attention and share their passion for their art.

Each day begins with dance, then moves into music. After lunch, campers explore the world of drama and end the day with fun art projects. Drop off time is 8:00 AM and campers wrap up their daily art projects by 5:30 PM.

The day is jam-packed with many performing arts exercises, lessons, and tons of fun games. Campers are sure to thoroughly enjoy this week and make lots of friends who share a love for the performing arts. The week concludes with a performance according to the chosen theme. Examples of previous themes are: Frozen, Pirate Fairies, Annie, and Cinderella.

Campers must bring a bagged lunch, two snacks, and drinks each day, Monday-Thursday. On Friday, the studio provides a pizza party and sweet treats for each camper.

In addition to the shirt he or she is wearing, each camper must also bring a plain, white t-shirt the first day of camp for an art project throughout the week. This shirt will be worn during the Friday performance held at 4:00 PM in Studio A at Sharon Davis School of Dance.
